I'm extremely driven to postulate new ways to use data to connect communities of color to opportunities in technology. I've worked on a few projects, primarily with the Slack API and JavaScript. Currently, I'm diving deeper into the MEAN Stack to simplify event driven programming. I'm working on visualize events happening in real time via social media, detecting which events are pertinent to users, and sending them updates.
I have over 5 years of experience in front end technologies such as HTML/HTML5 and CSS, and two years of experience in JavaScript. In the past year and a half, I have transitioned to using Angular, Mongo, Node, and Express for projects. With previous clients, I’ve gained experience in PHP (and LAMP technologies more generally), as well as Wordpress and CodeIgniter.

Curlfluence is a platform that connects companies that create products for people of the African diaspora with influential bloggers. I created the logo as well as the landing page, using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML5, CSS, and WordPress.
Blackjoy is the premier community for people of color. As the CEO of this company, I created multiple logos for the company (and subsequent companies), the backend for our subscription service (using PHP via CodeIgnitor), and other technology utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and PHP.
Currently, I am building a Slack Bot that leverages modules via Slack, Shippo, and others native to the MEAN Stack. Shippo allows users to create, track, and retrieve shipments with their API. Via Node.Js and Express, I am building the Slack app to allow users with Shippo accounts to access their shipments via Slack Commands.
